Glad to see another DOS games developer! Your game is awesome, great graphics, appropriate difficulty, it looks like exactly as games looked in the good old times, like you just found in on forgotten floppy :D I enjoyed every single level of it, thank you!
(Note 1: The saves do not work on the Html5 version for technical reasons. If you want to save, download DOSBox and play the DOS binary
Note 2: The Html5 version was made possible by em-dosbox project. It means that the web version uses DOSBox to emulate the game, which means there might be some issues (like sometimes the game won't load, and instead boots to the DOSBox's starting window) I cannot affect.
Note 3: I use computer beeper for the sounds, so I cannot affect the sound volume. It's either on or off. Sorry)
Plutonium Caverns is a puzzle game developer for good ol' MS-DOS. You are an alien who is exploring a mysterious planet and collecting plutonium gems for a very good reason that is explained in the story screen so I have no reason to tell the same thing here.
Controls: Arrow keys for moving and interacting, R for reset, Enter for pause.
Source code (if public yet): https://github.com/jani-nykanen/plutonium-caverns
Guide for playing the DOS binary:
Download DOSBox here: https://www.dosbox.com ... and learn to use it.
Might work on real hardware, not tested, though.

amazing! we need more DOS stuff :)
Played it all the way through in one sitting. Super addicting and refreshing.
Very fun game! The retro vibe of the game really pulled me in and I didn't even realize how long I played the game :D
I don't know if you've heard of Game Development World Championship before (gdwc2019) but it's a competition for indie game developers where they can submit their games and it's free! It's great if you want some more visibility for the game and it only takes a couple of minutes to join :)
