Dying Dreams - (In)complete Edition
"You are having the same dream again... the dream where everyone must die."
Dying Dreams is a puzzle game where you control several characters at the same time and try to ki... ehm, eliminate them all. Yes, that sounds less brutal. (No it doesn't)
This is a "complete HD" version of the original that was made for js13k competition (2022). You can find the original here.
Controls:
Keyboard and Xbox controllers (and controllers using similar API) are supported.
- Arrow keys (or left analogue stick/dpad): move characters
- Enter (or [Start]): Pause game (you can restart the level and undo a move also here)
- R (or (Y)): Restart a level (Note: on keyboards with French layout this is apparently some other key that would be in the same place as R in a QWERTY keyboard, I have heard)
- Backspace or Z (or (B)): Undo a move.

Hi Jani.
Long time, no see.
A very cute charming game. Simple concept, and yet getting harder and harder to solve. It reminds me a bit of Karoshi in which you also had to die in a platformer, however Karoshi is still more looking like an action game, and this is actual a true puzzle game. The game is easy to learn and yet despite its simplicity hard to solve at some point. Very well done, Jani.
Very good game!
there should be more sooisyde themed games!
Included Dying Dreams as part of a puzzle game compilation @ 24:23. As you can tell by the edits there were some big struggle levels I got completely the wrong idea about.
Cool game, but there is a typo "yuo" in the ending message
What's yuor problem?
Dying Dreams Walkthrough
you don't check how many levels there are.
25 Levels
Great as usual!
This is very well done. The puzzles are both simple and intricate. They take some planning to complete. Also, the thme is funny, to boot.
